Traveling to Monaco, you can find there the world's most exclusive brands. The expensive jewelry stores, such as Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels, and the expensive clothing stores: Hermes, Celine, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Per Spook. The majority of fashion boutiques is located in the luxury hotels. Jewellers and the Swiss watch brands are other popular souvenirs. The Boutique du Rocher in Avenue de la Madonne is the official boutique where you can buy Monaco arts and crafts. Do not miss the opportunity to Rue Grimaldi is a busy shopping street near the Port, in La Condamine. There the tourists can buy practically everything, beginning with souvenirs, clothing and finishing with local crafts. At the foothill of the Prince Palace there are some open-air markets, where various household items, clothings and textiles, shoes, leather products such as handbags, belts, travelling bags are on sale.

If you visit Monaco in December or early January, you will be able to visit the Winter Christmas Markets held at the harbour every year. A lot of entertainments can be found there, beginning with amusement park for children and different traditional dishes. Those who are interested in history can buy the souvenirs in the shops located in the local museums. So, many of the Monaco museums also have interesting shops with more specialist items on offer. If you prefer to do some substantial shopping, go to a trip over the border in to France.
